Day 1

Barcelona – Madrid

Boarding at Barcelona Sants station, departure on the high-speed train for Madrid. A pleasant and brief journey. Arrival and transfer to hotel.

Day 2 (B)

Madrid – Trujillo – Lisbon

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to our terminal at 8.30 a.m. departure for Trujillo, free time to get to know its Plaza Mayor. The tour continues through Alentejo via Elvas, Estremoz and Setúbal, crossing the Tajo River estuary over the impressive 25 de Abril Bridge and arriving at Lisbon.

Accommodation at the hotel.

Optional and highly-recommended fado show (traditional Portuguese music).

Day 3 (B)


Breakfast at the hotel.Tour of the city including its main squares and avenues: Belem Tower, Jerónimos Monastery , Carruajes Museum, Monument to the Discoveries, Marqués de Pombal Square, and Avenida da Liberdade. Afternoon free to discover the District of Alfama.

Day 4  (B, L)

Lisbon – Obidos – Alcobaca –Nazare – Batalha – Fatima

After breakfast at the hotel, departure to Obidos, a walled city with rustic white houses and the Pousada do Castelo. Journey to Alcobaça, with a tour of its 12th century church, housing the tombs of Don Pedro and Inés de Castro, followed by a visit to the picturesque fishing village of Nazare. Lunch and, if there is time, a stop to take in the town and its beaches. In the afternoon , a tour of the Gothic and Manueline Batalha Monastery , considered  a World Heritage Site. Tour continues to Fatima.

Day 5  (B)

Fatima – Lisbon

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day to enjoy the centre of the Christian faith and world pilgrimage sanctuary with its impressive Basilica and Cova da Iria, where the Virgin Mary appeared, and the Chapel of the Apparitions at the heart of the sanctuary, with the tombs of the three shepherds Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta. At the end of the day, return to Lisbon.

Day 6  (B, D)

Lisbon – Caceres – Cordoba

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure at 7.30 a.m. to the World Heritage Site of Cáceres, an architectural blend of the Romanesque, Islamic, Gothic and Italian Renaissance. Stroll through the historic quarter, medieval neighbourhood and the Plaza Mayor. Journey to Córdoba.

Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 7  (B, D)

Cordoba – Sevilla

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the impressive Mosque/Cathedral and a stroll through the narrow streets of the Jewish quarter. Arrival in Sevilla.

Day 8  (B, D)


Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, a tour of the city’s monuments and most scenic sites: the exterior of the Cathedral, the second largest Catholic cathedral after Saint Peter’s in Rome; the Barrio de Santa Cruz, the natural setting of Carmen and Don Juan; and Maria Luisa Park and the Plaza de España. Afternoon free to discover the different perspectives and flavours of this magical city.

Day 9  (B, D)

Sevilla– Ronda–Costa Del Sol

Breakfast at the hotel and route through the White Towns of Andalucía heading towards Ronda. Free time to admire this city of Celtic origin with marvellous views of the valley and mountain. In the afternoon, journey to the modern and exceptional international tourist destination of Costa del Sol.

Day 10 (D)

Costa Del Sol

Arrival, dinner, and accommodation at the hotel. Free day to enjoy the beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol and nearby areas or take part in one of our optional outings.

Day 11 (B, D)

Costa Del Sol – Tarifa – Tangier – Rabat – Casablanca

After breakfast at the hotel, departure to Tarifa via destinations like Marbella and Puerto Banus. Arrival at the port to board the ferry for the short journey across the Strait of Gibraltar heading towards Africa. Arrival in Tangier, disembarkation, customs processes and continuation of trip by coach via Larache towards Rabat, the diplomatic and administrative capital and the official residence of King Mohammed VI. Visit to the exterior of the Royal Palace, Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the unfinished Hassan Tower (great examples of Almohad architecture). The trip continues with a journey to Casablanca, a major industrial and economic centre and the most populated city in the country. Free time.

Day 12 (B, L, D)

Casablanca – Marrakech

Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing tour of the most interesting areas of the city: Anfa Boulevard, United Nations Square, residential areas and exterior of the great Hassan II Mosque. Departure towards Marrakech, with lunch on the way. The capital of the south located in the oasis between the Atlas Mountains and the pre-desert area. Tour including Koutoubia Tower, the twin of La Giralda in Sevilla, Saadian Tombs and Bahia Palace. A stroll through the medina, bazaars, and the magical Jemaa el-Fna market, complete with fortune tellers, snake charmers, acrobats, etc. a unique open-air setting for taking unforgettable photos. Return to hotel and free time.

Dinner and optional show “Fantasía Chez Alí”.

Day 13 (B, D)

Marrakech – Meknes – Fez

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to historic quarter of Meknes, surrounded by 40 km of city walls. A sightseeing tour to see the Bab Al Mansour gate, the
most beautiful gate in Morocco and the city’s most iconic landmark. The trip continues on to Fez, the most monumental of the Imperial Cities. Its University of Al Karaouin is the largest Islamic sanctuary in Morocco with ancient theological schools, and more.

Day 14 (B, L, D)


Breakfast and lunch at the hotel. In the morning, tour of the 7 gates of the Royal Palace, Jewish quarter or Mellah, Bab Bou Jeloud gate, and a stroll through the grandiose medina, or historic quarter, declared a World Heritage Site. Afternoon free.

Optional dinner with show.

Day 15 (B, D)

Fez– Tangier– Tarifa – Costa Del Sol

After breakfast at the hotel, departure for Tangier. Transfer to the port to board the ferry, across the Strait of Gibraltar to return to Spain. Journey to Costa del Sol.

Day 16 (B, D)

Costa Del Sol

Arrival, dinner, and accommodation at the hotel.
Free day to enjoy the beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol and nearby areas or take part in one of our optional outings.

Day 17 (B, D)

Costa Del Sol – Granada

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Granada and its incredible collection of monuments, the last bastion of Granada’s Nasrid Dynasty until 1492.
Visit to the world-famous Alhambra complex with its beautiful Nasrid palaces and the Generalife Gardens. This is the setting which inspired authors such as W. Irving in his work Tales of the Alhambra. Remainder of the afternoon free.

Optional Zambra flamenco show in the Sacromonte neighbourhood.

Day 18 (B)

Granada – Toledo – Madrid

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Toledo, the impressive imperial city surrounded by the Tajo River, declared a World Heritage Site and the cradle of Christian, Muslim and Jewish civilizations. A marvel of art, history and spirituality, this city is a national monument. A tour including its major monuments, its typical narrow streets and examples of the damascening technique (inlaying precious metals in steel). Trip continues to Madrid.
