Day 01:- Caracas

Arriving in Caracas and transferto your three-star-hotel. Free time for the rest of the day!

Optionally, dinner in a traditional restaurant.

Day 02:-  Lake Maracaibo – Lightning Catatumbo

Early transfer to the airport. Light breakfast on the way. Flight to El Vigia and a three hour drive to Puerto Concha. Along the small road it is possible to buy local souvenirs and also make a break for lunch. Next you will go to the settlement logy by motorboats. On the way you can see the jungle, different animals, especially birds. You arrive in Campamento on Lake Maracaibo, a house on stilts (beds or hammocks, mosquito nets, air conditioning or fan, shared toilet and shower).

At night you can see the phenomenon of lightning.

Day 03:–  Lake Maracaibo

After breakfast, there is a tour on a motor boat on Lake Maracaibo. Jungle bordered the lake, visit a local village- pueblo en el Agua- and the observation deck El Congo. Returning to the accommodation and dinner. At night there will be an observation of the phenomenon of lightning.

Day 04:– Merida

Transfer to the city merida after breakfast. Accommodation in a three-star-hotel.

Optional: walk from the center of merida, to simon bolivar square, visit the city’s cathedral and the government building.Visit a famous cafe – which is entered in the guinness book of records for serving about 1,000 varieties of ice cream. Ice cream with salmon or with a local brew – tastefully pickles or garlic. Or visit the central andean market, the zoo and the theme park of venezuela anteaer. In merida opened the world’s longest cable car mukumbari (12.5 km with a maximum height of 4,765 m)

Day 05:-  Program For Mountain Biking In The Andes

After breakfast you will start with the K rasiveyshy route. First two-hour ride on the road, passing the natural monument called Las Chorreras – a very beautiful waterfall, located very close to the road. Then we continue to the village Hohi, rising past the slopes, which have long been used for agricultural production, and descending into the mythological lagoon Dae URAO. The name comes from Urao mineral – carbonate soda, which is used by pre-Columbian Indians to be mix with tobacco leaves. Then you will pass the lagoon, where the world’s largest deposit of this mineral is. Along the way you will have a light lunch.

At the place of rest you can do paragliding and enjoy the bird’s-eye view of the mountain scenery of the Andes. The difference in height is 1700 m, length 27 km, maximum altitude 2700 m.

Return to the hotel in Merida.

Day 06:- Paramo, Andes

Breakfast in the hotel. Drive to the high plains of the Andes (VOC paramos). Along the way you will see the Andean villages: Kakuta, where every year the locals celebrate the candle festival. Mukuchies with many fluffy mountain dogs. You will visit the temple-monument of stones – Kapiya de Piedras- a famous Andean architect. On the way the local shops offer hot cocoa, coffee, strawberries and cream. For lunch you can also stop along the way and order the local trout. After lunch departure to the lagoon Mucubaji and then a walk (or with a mule) to the glacial lagoon Negra, located at an height of 3,500 meters. The dark surface of the lagoon is like a mirror, reflected the surrounding mountains and the peak of El Aguila (4117 m). Arrival at your four-star-hotel.

Day 07:-  Rafting On River Acequia

Breakfast and check-in at the Campamento ARACARI River.After the arrival you will get an instruction and a river rafting class. Later, you can relax in the nature next to tropical birds or do some exciting motorbike tours on the country roads Barinas.

Day 08:- Rafting Kanagua on the River

After breakfast, departure to an isolated village of Santa Maria de Kanagua. You will drive about 3 hours, the place is located around 400 meters from the river. After the briefing we go on a raft in the water for the first tour. But it is only two hundred meters long. Later, you will have more tours, which will be faster and longer. The largest is called “Three Martin.” On the way we stop at beautiful beaches, one with a natural hot spring bathing and have light lunch.

You will see the virgin rainforest, huge cliffs, huge boulders, and occasional wildlife. Upper Kanagua is the best rafting river in Venezuela that combines the adrenaline rush with the beauty of nature. We finish at the local coastal farm, from where we return to the camp.

Day 09:- The Los Llanos, the Venezuelan Plains

After breakfast, departure to Los Llanos – the Savannah, located in the central region of Venezuela. It is home to the local cowboys, farmers. They have their own folklore music – Horopo with different instruments and traditional dances. And it’s a real Wildlife are, especially for birds. The plains of Los Llanos are one of the largest reserves in Latin America for birds. Many of them fly from Canada and Alaska to Venezuela to escape the winter. On the way you will have lunch in a charming and traditional estate. On the territory of the savannah, you can find about 350 species of birds and about 50 species of mammals.  Here, the professional local guides offer land and boat trips, which will be of interest not only to naturalists and birdwatchers, but also to all lovers of wildlife.

Day 10:- Los Llanos

Today you drive to the local hunters on the plains of Los Llanos. Around you can see plenty of tropical birds. There you also find different species of turtles, iguanas, and capybaras “chiguiri” – a huge tropical rat, which is the largest rodent on the planet. Returning, you will have lunch and time for a little rest. In the afternoon, you can search for anacondas or catch a caiman with a rope lasso or feed him. Meet the Orinoco crocodile, which can be up to 6 meters long. If you are lucky you could see a cat ocelot or a one of the rare local pumas.  In the evening you will return to the hotel and have dinner. If you want, you can enjoy a night walk through Los Llanos.

Day 11:-  Caracas – Paria Peninsula

In The Morning Transfer To The Airport And Flight To Canaima National Park. Transfer To Your Lodge. After Lunch, You Will Explore The Lagoon Of Canaima In Indian Boats – Kuriaras. In The Lagoon You Find The Water Of Four Waterfalls: Acha, Ukayma, Golondrina And Vadayma. It Is A Great Place To Take Some Pictures! You Can Walk Around The Island, Named After The Russian Explorer Of These Places, Anatolia. You Will Enjoy A Breathtaking Adventure: You Go To The “Other Side” Of The Majestic Waterfall El Sapo, Through A Powerful Water Curtain, Which Forms The River Carrao. You Can Also Swim In The Lagoon Or Enjoy A Natural Hydro Massage. After The Trip You Will Return To The Hotel And Have Dinner.

Day 12 to 13:- Peninsula Paria

Breakfast and time to relax at the beach at El Uba and Nivaldito.

Paria Peninsula is located in the state of Sucre, in the north-east of Venezuela. The main part is a national park. The territory of the park is rich in tropical forests and inhabited by various types of the animal world in Venezuela. For sun and beach the Peninsula Paria has beautiful beaches. There are small colonial coastal towns and a lot of farms for the breeding of buffaloes. This is a wonderful holiday away from civilization.

Day 14:- Caracas
