Day 1 (D)

Arrive Warsaw

You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Then your time is free to relax or begin exploring. Later, met your fellow travelers and your Tour Director for a Welcome Dinner.

Day 2 (B)

Warsaw

The 700-year-old capital is a symbol of the Polish nationhood and the will to survive against great odds. A sightseeing tour here includes a drive along the famous Royal Route from the magnificent Castle Square to Lazienki Park and Palace, the summer residence of the last king of Poland. Pass by the palace of Science and culture (known as the “wedding cake”), the Saxon Gardens, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Mounment to the Heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto and the Barbican. Continue with the walking tour of the Old Town, the Old Market Square and St. John’s Cathedral. The rest of the day is free for relaxing, shopping, a stroll through the city or an optional late afternoon Chopin concert.

Day 3 (B , D)

Krakow

This morning, journey to Czestchowa, known for the blackened picture of St. Mary in the Yasna Gora Monastery, popularly called the “Black Madonna.” This afternoon tour haunting Auschwitz-Birkenau, the notorious World War II concentration camp. It is now on the list of UNESCEO World Heritage sites. End the day in Krakow.

Day 4 (B)

Krakow

A morning sightseeing tour starts with a visit to Wawel Hil, viewing the Royal Castle and visiting the Royal Cathedral. Next, take a walking tour of the Old Town where you will see the Main Market Square and Renaissance Cloth Hall, and visit St. Mary’s Church. The afternoon is free to shop and do more sightseeing.

Day 5 (B , D)

Prague

After a drive through across the unspoiled Polish countryside, then over the borders of Slovakia and the Czech Republic. End the day in Prague, with its Baroque churches, promenades, parks, and ancient city walls.

Day 6 (B)

Prague

Prague has a long and colorful history. Built across seven hills on both banks of the Vltava River, it is one of the most attractive cities in Europe. Your sightseeing starts with a panaromic drive to Wenceslas Square, Strahov Stadium, and Castle Square. Then, on a walking tour, visit the Royal Castle of Hradcany, Cathedral of St. Vitus, the Old Royal Palace, St. George’s Basillica and the Golden Lane with the Daliborka Tower. Cross the Charles Bridge to the old quarter of Prague to see the Jewish Ghetto, Town Hall and Astronomical Clock. The rest of the day is free. Perhaps attend an optional cultural performance, shop, or just relax.

Day 7 (B)

Vienna

Head to Vienna, the “City of Waltz.” Your time is free in Austria’s lovely capital.

Day 8 (B , D)

Vienna 

Start the day is a visit to Hofburg Palace, then on to view Belvedere Palace, Prater Amusement Park, the UN Buildings, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and more. The afternoon is at leisure. Tonight, gather for a Farwell Dinner in a Restaurant.

Day 9 (B)

Depart Vienna

You will be transferred to the airport to your flight.
