Day 1:- Arrive Leh.  Evening Shanti Stupa.

Welcome to Leh, India’s Own Moon land, a land like no other with a superabundance of attractions to visit and fabulous landscapes, amazing people and culture.

On arrival transfer to hotel and check in. Later proceed for sightseeing of Leh, visit Shanti Stupa.

Rest of the day is free for leisure, explore the beautiful and serene landscape.

Day 2:- Leh Sightseeing.

Today after breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing, visit to Shey Palace, Thiksey, Hemis Monasteries, Stok Palace Museum & Sindhu Ghat.

Day 3:- Depart Leh / Arrive Nubra Valley. Khardung La Pass & Camel Ride.

Today after breakfast, checkout and later we drive towards Nubra Valley.

The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road in The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Sasser massif.

Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers.

Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our Camp and get refreshed. In the evening we drive to Hunder where you have opportunity to ride on a bacterian camel (double humped).

Day 4:- Day Excursion to Turtuk Village.

Today after breakfast, enjoy a pristine drive exploring Nubra Valley.

Drive to Turtuk a picture perfect balti village on the Pakistan border, going past Thoise – the military airport servicing Siachen Glacier. Turtuk was occupied by Pakistan before 1971. One can still see the remains of war time bunkers.

Retrace to Nubra valley. Enroute visit Tyakshi ( it is the border which divides India and Pakistan)

Day 5:- Depart Nubra valley / Arrive Leh.

After Breakfast, checkout and drive back to Leh.

Enroute visit the Deskit Monestry, located around 17 km south to the Leh, this beautiful Buddhist monastery is the largest monastery in central Ladakh. This Tibetan Buddhist monastery was set up by the Gelukpa monks.

On arrival, transfer and check into the hotel. Rest of the evening is free for leisure.

Day 6:- Pangong Lake via Changla Pass

Today after breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake through Changla Pass. It is 15-km long and the roads are absolutely steep.

Afternoon reach Pangong Lake, Shared by India and China, Pangong Tso Lake is a landlocked lake of saline water, which completely freezes during winter. This endorheic basin, situated at a height of 14,270 ft above sea level is home to many migratory birds, but supports no aquatic life. Its timeless beauty and inspiring blue color often leave visitors speechless.

In the evening, back to hotel.

Day 7:- Sightseeing in and around Leh.

Today after breakfast, start your day with sightseeing in and around Leh.

Start with Alchi Monastery, it is a part of the Alchi village, Alchi is regarded as one of the most important Buddhist centres in Ladakh and also as one of the monastic jewels of Ladakh. here are five shrines in the Choskor Temple Complex which has some splendid wall paintings. One of its walls features thousands of miniature sized pictures of the Buddha.

Procced to Pathar Sahib Gurudhwara, most revered place where Guru Nanak Dev ji, founder of the Sikh religion is believed to have conquered a demon.

Then visit the Hall Of Fame Museum lastly proceed to Nimmu, a beautiful valley that marks the confluence of the Indus River and Zanskar River. The Indus River drains the dry and deserted terrains of Ladakh’s landlocked valley and serves as its lifeline. Zanskar, on the other hand, is a tributary of this river and merges into it from the north-eastern direction.

In the evening, back to hotel.

Day 8:- Depart Leh / Arrive home.

Today after breakfast, checkout and depart to Leh Airport for your flight back home with a collection of all those wonderful memories & souvenirs from your Leh Ladakh Holidays.
